JUNIOR COST ACCOUNTANT
This position reports to the Cost Accounting Manager and is responsible for Global Inventory Accounting processes.
The role is responsible for providing full accounting support for Inventory Accounting and has primary ownership of providing critical financial services such as accounting support for the month-end reporting, PBC/SOX related activities, Fab and Modco accounting & operation.
The role includes interfacing with the global functional team members in rolling-out programs and projects
**Responsibilities**:
Coordination and performance of period-end close procedures for Inventory.
Preparation & analysis of month-end close tasks such as manual journal adjustments calculations & entries, inventory BS/PL fluxes, account reconciliation, etc.
Preparation of SOX & PBC requirements on a quarterly basis
Provide support to FAB inventory operations, and a resolution to inventory concerns in Oracle
Provide support to Oracle & Hyperion activities related to Cost Accounting
Preparation of SPML Inventory statutory requirements
Preparation & analysis of Inventory Reserves for FAB sites including reserves program weekly utilization.
Provide support to projects involving Cost Accounting
Other Cost Accounting tasks as assigned
**Requirements**:
Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA
Basic GAAP accounting knowledge
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley processes and documentation
Strong analytical skills
Can work well at different levels of the organization
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
