CORPORATE COMPTROLLER (CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY)
We are looking for a Comptroller with extensive experience from the construction
industry (Construction Companies or Project Development Companies). He must be
adept in Project Accounting aside from General Accounting, Cost Accounting and
Budget Preparation. His responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly financial
statements, accompanied by insightful financial analysis and recommendation.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Comptroller is responsible for the following tasks:
? Directs and manages the company's Comptrollership Division to include
management of general accounting, cost accounting, financial planning and
budgeting functions.
? Highly knowledgeable of Project Accounting, he must be able to compute GP's per
project and maximize the profitability for each project.
? Safeguards the company's financial and fixed assets by setting up internal controls,
conducting cycle counts, and optimizing the allocation and utilization thereof
? Institutes appropriate measures to control costs and expenses of the company,
minimize or avoid losses, and maximize profits of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS: Work Experience:
· With at least fifteen (15) years of actual work experience in Project Accounting, General
& Cost Accounting, preferably as a Comptroller or equivalent senior level position in a
Construction Company.
Education: Graduate of a business administration course, major in AccountingMust be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Preferably with Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Business
Management (MBA) degree
