About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Copy Editor to edit and proofread the digital, print, and video assets that circulate through the in-house agency.
In this role, you will:Partner with account executives, project managers, copywriters, web developers and designers to process and complete client requests for both new and updated content.Demonstrate the authority to establish Wells Fargo and line-of-business standards by partnering with cross-business clients.Collaborate and consult with management to create, improve, and document internal processes and guidelines to enhance editorial standards, quality, and consistency.Maintain task status in JIRA or a similar agile-management tool.Contribute to the development of new processes and concepts within creative services.Contribute to forecasting internal and external needs to edit content for a wide variety of complex marketing applications.Manage both short- and long-term projects, assessing the achievement of objectives according to predefined goals.Be the expert in brand guidelines, following the Wells Fargo Writing Guide and AP/Chicago Manual of StylePrioritize multiple projects while meeting competing deadlines.Apply copyediting knowledge, principles, concepts, writing ability, and editorial skills.Maintain style and terminology guides, as well as editorial process documentation.Verify materials for accuracy, job specifications, aesthetics, consistency, and adherence to corporate branding and legal compliance guidelines, ensuring documents have correct copyright, disclosure, logos, and service marks.Required Qualifications:2+ years of Creative Services, marketing, creative writing, or communications editorial experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:Superior editorial knowledge and ability to enforce formalized brand standards.Experience with cross-business collaboration and partnership.Experience in digital content/editing within content management systemsFamiliar with digital best practices and basic understanding of HTML and CSSKnowledge in SEO copywritingExperience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Knowledge in AI tools such as Jasper, Copy AI, Microsoft Copilot, Grammarly and Quillbot.Job Expectations:Review a wide range of projects, both print and digital, to ensure grammatical correctness, accuracy, brand and legal compliance, web accessibility, and other job specifications.Work closely with the creative and production team to suggest changes or modifications to enhance content readability, consistency, and stylePerform quality checks and functional testing on digital propertiesPosting End Date:
