Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles. This role is crucial for managing our financial operations as we continue to grow. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights through data analytics.
Responsibilities:Financial Management: Oversee and manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
GAAP Compliance: Ensure all financial practices are in line with GAAP accounting standards.
QuickBooks: Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Revenue Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, particularly for a business with $10M+ in revenue, to provide actionable insights.
Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial documents are accurate and compliant.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.
Requirements:Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role, specifically with businesses generating $10M+ in revenue.
QuickBooks Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
GAAP Expertise: Deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles and their application in a business setting.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on revenue analysis and financial data interpretation.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
Must-haves:Location: Based in the Philippines or Latin America, with the ability to work remotely during MST hours.
Integrity: High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation and reporting.
