Purpose of the position
The Contracts Specialist will review plans, specifications and project contracts to ensure and determine the correct project equipment, material and services are ordered and/or purchased. Review or negotiate the project contract terms and conditions. This is for a Filipino Nationality only. Key Responsibilities
• Review project plans, specifications and project contracts.
• Manage, review, negotiate, and approve contract terms and conditions.
• Establish and monitor project delivery schedules, progress, client contact and suppliers.
• Review project contract estimates, proposed materials, and production costs.
• Ensure that all project records are accurate and up to date.
• Attend project meetings and prepare project status reports.
• Comply with the SMEC's standard.
• Comply with the contract law standard and regulations.
• Work closely with Project Director, Project Manager, and other technical personnel.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree of Engineering course or equivalent
• With at least 10 years' work experience in the same field
• Knowledgeable in contract law and principles
• Has strong negotiation skills and attention to details
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
• Willing to accept Project-base employment
