Content Writers are masters of providing quality content for marketing, email copies, and engaging materials for various industries. They have the best communication skills for writing and research and can quickly discern ideal formats for different materials.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Come up with ideas and words to get an advertising or promotional message across clearly and effectively.
- Create the text for advertisements, promotional brochures, and other public relations communications.
- Work as a team to develop promotional materials designed to sell a product, service, person, or idea.
- Collaborate with the clients and other creative team members to generate ideas.
- Shows good judgment and maturity concerning client interactions
- Create email content for client campaigns
- Creation of a content marketing calendar to ensure all email templates are supplemented throughout the campaign
- Monitor and analyze marketing content for clients such as banner ads, landing pages, etc.
- Working alongside the social media specialist to create content for the different social media channels (inmail messages)
- Attaining production targets set by the team leader (overall reply rate)
- Reporting to the team leader on campaign metrics and status regularly
- Depending on the skillset, the content specialist can do or coordinate with the landing page creation.
- Other tasks that are assigned by the supervisor or CEO
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
- Portfolio of completed articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
