Job Summary
This position exists to update and maintain primary law data in a timely, efficient and accurate fashion using current editorial systems (EDEN - Editorial Environment).
Work as part of a team of content editors and/or legal analysts to ensure the integrity of primary law data along with enhancements for online and offline legal products.
Responsible for administrative, editorial and organizational tasks required to ensure timely completion of editorial products and projects for one or several jurisdictions
Accountabilities
- Meet the accurate, complete and timely STED requirements by (a) planning and prioritizing; (b) partnering with SMEs, Business Unit counterparts, and within/across teams in PSS, as appropriate; (3) delivering accurate, complete and timely results.
- Copy-edit material to ensure it meets Jurisdictional standards for accuracy and style (spelling, grammar, coherence, style consistency)
- Analyze and mark-up material to prepare for output (tagging or tagging clean-up as required, marking-up pages)
- Proof-read material to verify copy-editing task and other mark-ups (verifying changes made to electronic files, formatting and ensuring input has been made correctly)
- Submit proofs whenever necessary for review (communicating any queries to SMEs/ BU counterparts; providing time and standards to review proofs; inputting final corrections)
- Create Note enhancements with Jurisdictional standards for accuracy and style
- Deliver high quality work that meets or exceeds internal standards.
Identifies patterns in errors through root cause analysis and speak to quality/process issues across jurisdictions, products and systems.
- Adhere to production, tracking and scheduling in existing scheduling systems, and communication best practices.
Recognizes potential errors/roadblocks.
Identify process opportunities and take action to remediate problems and formulate process improvements.
- View projects and tasks in light of production timelines, team/department priorities; follow-through in a timely manner on all tasks.
Escalate challenges to resource and production demands
- Support team decisions, encourages and support team atmosphere.
Assist colleagues with production needs within team/department in order to contribute to overall work/life balance concerns; Take time to share knowledge and expertise, mentor, etc., plus proactively recognize and address knowledge gaps and opportunities to build competence within team, department, and Charlottesville counterparts.
Complimentary Competencies

Technical Competencies
- Experience of working in XML content management system.
Other Qualifications/Requirements:
**Salary**: Php12,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month

- Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
