POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Content Associate will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing various forms of content to support the company's marketing and communication strategies. This role requires strong writing and editing skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation:
· Develop high-quality written content for blogs, articles, social media posts, newsletters, website copy, and other marketing materials.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to generate content ideas that align with the company's goals and target audience.
Content Editing and Proofreading:
· Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, style, and tone.
· Ensure all content is consistent with the company's brand voice and guidelines.
Content Management:
· Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across various platforms.
· Manage and organize digital content assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Research and Analysis:
· Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to inform content strategy.
· Analyze content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing and cohesive content.
· Coordinate with other departments to gather information and insights for content development.
SEO Optimization:
· Implement SEO best practices in content creation to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
· Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Project Management:
· Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
· Communicate progress and any issues to the relevant stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
· Proven experience in content creation, writing, and editing.
· Strong command of the English language, with excellent grammar and writing skills.
· Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
· Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML knowledge.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus.
SKILLS:
· Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
· Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance.
· Basic video editing skills.
