Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives.
Provides business practices and processes.
Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.
Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.
Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities.
Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals.
Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance.
Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.
Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.
Attention to detail critical.
Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format.
Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected.
Relationship management skills strongly desired.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.
2 plus years relevant work experience.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Execute project desk functions including, but not limited to contract research, deal structuring, business approvals, order requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity
- Support Sales team with questions on deals, sales policies, and guidelines pricing/discounting
- Liaise between Sales teams, Sales & Professional Services Management, Finance, and Legal
- Manage assigned queues' deal & request flow in alignment with priorities communicated by direct leadership
- Collaborate and build proactive, positive relationships with peers, managers, professional services sales and operations, shared services, and account teams to ensure consistency within processes, determine best practices, and work efficiently
- Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
Be a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand complex sales issues
- Strive to meet or exceed published service level agreements
- Ability to identify process improvements
- Work extended hours during month-end and quarter-end closings
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- This is a night-shift schedule supporting North American clients

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- 2-4 years of pricing and/or deal desk or contract experience
- Must be a self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with field sales, field sales operations and finance
- Must be able to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
- An ability to operate independently with limited direction/supervision
- Attention to details
- Intermediate MS Word and MS Powerpoint skills required
- Above Average MS Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
