Job Title: Construction Project Accountant Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST Salary Range: 1,200 - 1,500 USD per month
FOR PH ApplicantsAbout the Job: The Project Accountant's primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding contact modifications, compliance, payments, reports and any other duties related to the project. Some occasional travel to the job sites for job status review and meetings. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects. Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to the accounting department. Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects. Have an understanding of compliance requirements for assigned projects. Process vendor invoices accurately and within assigned timeline. Process sub-contractor payments accurately and within assigned timeline. Collect and track compliance documents. Generate reports including Payroll, A/R, Contract Status, and Job Cost. Input owner billings in Timberline. Job cost report modification. Other related duties as assigned or needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, and/or related proven work experience. At least two years of related experience as an accountant or bookkeeper. Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas. Experience in the construction industry preferred. Experience with financial reporting requirements. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient in data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor payments. Proficient with accounting software. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
