We are currently looking for a Construction Manager who will be willing to be assigned in Crown Regency Grand Paradise in Panglao, Bohol.
As a Construction Manager, your tasks and responsibilities would entail:
Attending regular meetings with project managers, consultants and contractors to discuss /resolve technical issues. Prepare minutes of meeting and ensure distribution to all attendees.Execute contracts of various contractors and suppliersOversee Contractors Quality Control and Safety ProgrammeMaintain full-time competent staff on site to coordinate the works, and provide proper direction to all staff as well as the contractors and suppliersSecure shop drawings, material submittal, and request for information from contractors and suppliers for review by the consultants. 6. 6. Ensure that all submittals are approved at the early stage of the project. Monitor milestone events previously established and update scheduleTo take care of orders for long lead materials and equipment necessary for construction of the projectTo mark-up the drawings of the progress of their works (as-built drawings), and submit the same to the Project ManagerReviewing the draft O & M (Operations & Maintenance) Manual submitted by contractorsTo review defects list submitted and makes sure that the action plans in fixing/amending these defects are carried out successfullyPrepares Quality Control tools and programme and QCP 101 has been approved at the early start of the projectSupervises testing and commissioning of all utilitiesKeep accurate register of drawings for all Trades. Job Qualifications: Must be a licensed Civil EngineerAt least 5 years of related work experience (Experience as a Construction Manager is a must)Competent in project planning, budget and cost control, quality control, safety management, and problem solvingMust be open and willing to work in Bohol
