Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Direction:
1. Provide overall leadership to the Roving Team, Quantity Surveying (QS) Team, Procurement Team, and other project-related units.
2. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align operational processes with the company's long-term goals.
3. Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within all teams.
Project Operations Oversight:
1. Supervise all active projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to project scope, and alignment with budget constraints.
2. Oversee project schedules, ensuring that key milestones are achieved while addressing potential delays proactively.
3. Ensure compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines and uphold company quality standards.
Project Deliverables & Turn-Over:
1. Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet design specifications and client expectations.
2. Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress and facilitate timely handover to clients, complete with all required documentation and quality assurances.
3. Verify that projects are delivered with full compliance and necessary certifications.
Team Management & Coordination:
1. Coordinate activities among various teams to streamline project execution and enhance collaboration.
2. Set clear performance objectives for each team member, fostering a sense of accountability for their contributions.
3. Mentor and support team development, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement.
Cost Management & Budget Control:
1. Collaborate closely with the QS Team to produce accurate cost estimates and ensure project profitability.
2. Oversee procurement activities to ensure materials are sourced effectively while maintaining high quality.
3. Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects remain within budget and review financial reports regularly.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
1. Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, senior management, and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
2. Provide comprehensive project status updates, including risks, progress, and budget performance, to senior management and stakeholders.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring their expectations are met.
Quality Control & Risk Management:
1. Implement quality control processes to ensure project standards and specifications are consistently met.
2. Identify potential risks related to project timelines, budgets, or quality and develop effective mitigation strategies.
3. Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed at all project sites.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
1. Continuously review operational processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
2. Lead the adoption of new technologies or tools that can streamline project execution and foster collaboration.
3. Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and inform future projects.
Compliance & Reporting:
1. Ensure all teams comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies and maintain accurate records of project activities.
2. Prepare reports for audits and reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability in operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Approximately 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership.
3. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction best practices.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
