Compliance Officer

S & L Fine Foods, Inc. is the Philippines' fast-growing importer & distributor of fine foods from Australia, Europe, Asia, and the USA. We cater to hotels, restaurants, catering, retail, and other food service establishments. We are looking to hire a Compliance Officer as we look to accelerate the growth of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with all government licensing and accreditation agencies for accurate, complete, and timely submission of requirements for renewal of licenses, permits, certifications, and accreditations.

Specifically: Responsible for facilitating compliance of the company to regulatory and statutory compliance;Implement sound internal control and monitor adherence of all pertinent documentary requirements from concerned gov't. agencies on required permits: clearances, licenses, registration and certifications based on scheduled preparation timeline to ensure appropriate schedule of submission;Manage control external crisis on compliance violation imposed by concerned government agencies;Keep company abreast on environmental and regulatory requirements and set recommendation to the management its rationale and risk;Procurement/Preparation of update status report of permitting status;Attend meeting(s) to any and all gov't agencies as instructed by the management to address pertinent issues;Closely monitor monthly; quarterly and yearly permits & registration renewal for its immediate compliance (LGU, SEC, BOC, EMB-DENR, NMIS, DA, FDA etc.)Safekeeping of vital and pertinent documents obtained in relation to permitting compliance;Update files for systematic filing system ;Monitor on-line applications in coordination with IT Dept.;Validate documentary requirements submitted by concerned personnel/dept. to ensure its completeness;Other tasks assigned from time to time.
