As a Compliance Dentist, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that our dental practice operates in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise will help us maintain the trust of our patients while providing top-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance Oversight: Monitor and review all aspects of the dental practice to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. Policy Development: Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures to address current regulations and industry best practices. Staff Training: Conduct compliance training sessions for dental staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Auditing and Reporting: Perform regular audits and assessments to identify compliance issues, and report findings to management. Develop and execute corrective action plans as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance efforts, including incident reports, policy updates, and training records. Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and staff. Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Active dental license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dentist, with a focus on compliance and regulatory affairs. Strong knowledge of dental industry regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
