Job Description Reporting to the HR Manager, the Compensation & Benefits Supervisor will be responsible for:
Payroll Management:
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, including entering data into payroll systems, calculating wages, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
Review and validate timesheets, overtime, and other payroll-related data.
Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations.
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Employee Benefits Administration:
Administer various employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave monitoring/conversion, coop processing, and other company-sponsored and government-mandated benefits.
Enroll new employees in benefit plans, make changes to existing employee benefits, and ensure timely termination of benefits for departing employees.
Act as a point of contact for employees' questions and concerns regarding their benefits.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and benefits records.
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, such as tax filings, year-end forms, and summary reports for management.
Generate and analyze payroll and benefits reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure secure handling and storage of sensitive payroll and benefits data.
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure all payroll and benefits processes adhere to company policies and legal standards.
Assist in preparing for audits by providing required documentation and explaining payroll and benefits operations.
Stay informed about changes in payroll and benefits laws and regulations and update company practices accordingly.
Liaise and process necessary documents for government offices including SSS, PhilHealth, BIR, and PAGIBIG Fund as required.
Employee Communication and Support:
Provide excellent customer service to employees, helping resolve any payroll or benefits-related inquiries or issues promptly.
Conduct new employee orientations, educating them about payroll processes and benefits options.
Create and distribute communications regarding changes to payroll and benefits policies.
Qualifications It could be you, if you have:
