BASIC FUNCTION:
This role primarily involves administrative duties, with a focus on monitoring employee attendance and supporting HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a nursing background with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Health and Wellness Management
• Provide basic healthcare services to employees, including first aid and emergency care.
• Maintain and update employee health records and medical histories.
• Conduct regular health checks and assessments.
• Implement health and wellness programs to promote a healthy work environment.
Administrative Duties
• Manage and organize medical supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of medical and administrative transactions.
• Prepare and submit health and safety reports as required.
• Coordinate with external healthcare providers for employee referrals and medical consultations.
HR Support:
• Monitor and record employee attendance and leave records.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance and wellness programs.
• Participate in the onboarding process, providing health and safety orientation to new employees.
• Support HR in organizing and conducting health-related training and workshops.
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee:
• Serve as a member of the OSH Committee.
• Assist in developing and implementing OSH policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the OSH Committee to address and resolve safety concerns.
• Participate in OSH Committee meetings and contribute to discussions on improving workplace safety.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Respond to workplace health and safety incidents and emergencies.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid nursing license and registration.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a registered nurse
• Preferably with experience in occupational health.
• Experience in administrative and HR support roles is an advantage.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
