The HR Specialist is responsible for providing basic medical assistance and care to our employees as the Company Nurse. He/she will maintain the company and employee health records and ensure compliance with the government reporting requirements.
Tasks: Company Nurse Provide employees with basic medical assistance and care, such as administering first aid, checking vital signs, and assessing symptoms. Conduct medicine inventory and replenish medicine supplies. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, including maintaining up-to-date records of workplace injuries and illnesses in compliance with DOLE. Provide employees health education and wellness promotion activities, including conducting health assessments and providing information about healthy lifestyle choices. Coordinate with employee experience specialists to organize and implement health and wellness programs. Implement Annual Physical Exams and Executive check-ups for employees. Process and validate the Annual Medical Reimbursement submission for active and resigning employees. Lead, create programs, and organize training and certification for first-aiders Coordinate with Compensation/ HR Ops Specialist for any filed Sickness Claims to align with reporting requirements. Create initiatives that promote workplace culture and satisfaction through various initiatives and programs like team building, employee recognition, health and wellness, etc. Organize and execute company-wide events, including team-building activities, recognition ceremonies, and social gatherings. Manage event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination. Design and administer employee engagement surveys to gather feedback and measure employee satisfaction. Analyze survey results and provide actionable recommendations to senior management. Develop and manage internal communication channels to ensure employees are informed and engaged. Create and distribute newsletters, announcements, and other communications to keep employees connected and updated. Act as a cultural ambassador, fostering employees' sense of community and belonging. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Active nursing license and certification Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, management, and external partners. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Capability to handle information with confidentiality Proficient with Microsoft Applications, SharePoint, and other social media platforms Strong interpersonal skills, with creative thinking and decision-making abilities. Ability to develop engaging and innovative programs that resonate with employees. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
