SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**MEDICAL ASPECTS**
1.
Administers first aid measures to employees in accordance with the prescribed nursing standards.
2.
Conducts minor physical check-up and dispenses available prescribed medicines to sick employees according to medical and nursing ethics.
3.
Maintains an orderly record of all dispensed medicines and makes necessary requisitions of needed medical supplies.
4.
Schedules and assists the medical provider team during annual physical examinations of all regular employees.
5.
Prepares promptly and maintains medical reports required by government agencies such as SSS, Philhealth, EC, DOLE.
6.
Renders reports related to health aspects and undertakings of the company.
7.
Prepares recommendations for the health status of personnel in coordination with the immediate superior.
8.
Conducts home visitations to sick employees as preventive health measure and submits written reports of the findings.
9.
Recommends health related programs and facilitates such in coordination with government agencies if possible
11.
Keeps and maintains proper filing of all Personnel and medical files and ensures its safety and confidentiality
**OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH and SAFETY ASPECTS**
12.
Assists during the investigation of accidents and prepares reports for government and private entities
13.
Assists in monitoring the compliance in the use of Personal Protective Equipment among employees
14.
Assists with the development, review and implementation of health and safety related policies and procedures and safety plan.
15.
Assists during investigation and review all accidents and near miss incidents.
**GENERAL ASPECTS**
16.
Assists in orientation of newly hired employees and during in-hours training
17.
Assists HR Department in the absence of HR personnel or as the need arises as part of multi-tasking
18.
Ensures 5S and quality management system implementation in the working area and activities.
19.
Observes safety and the need for continuous awareness of the plant's on-going safety rules and practices.
20.
Conducts training on some medical related topics as part of company's program for health and wellness of employees.
21.
Checks daily meals that are being served in the canteen as part of the proper nutrition program to employees.
22.
Manages petty cash and ensure.
23.
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior and other plant officers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Preferably Registered Nurse
- Flexible and hardworking
Minimum Experience:
- Experience as Company Nurse in manufacturing industry is an advantage, but not required.
Schedule:
- Shift system
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Meycauayan, Bulacan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
