### Job Description
Solaire Resort & Casino is seeking an energetic and dedicated Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about communications and brand representation in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in managing our internal and external communications, supporting various projects that promote our resort's brand, vision, and values.
### Responsibilities
**1. Content Creation & Management:**
- Assist in crafting compelling content for various communication platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
- Support the creation of marketing materials that align with our brand standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency across communication channels.
**2. Internal Communication:**
- Help develop and distribute internal communications to ensure employees are informed of company updates, initiatives, and events.
- Draft and disseminate announcements, memos, and other informational materials for staff.
- Foster a culture of open communication across all levels of the organization.
**3. Public Relations & Outreach:**
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts and community partners.
- Support the organization and execution of company events, including press conferences, community outreach, and promotional activities.
- Monitor media coverage and assist in compiling press clippings for internal reporting.
**4. Social Media Management:**
- Support the management of social media accounts by curating content, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
- Track and analyze social media engagement metrics, providing regular updates to the communications team.
**5. Brand Representation:**
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all communications and interactions representing Solaire Resort & Casino.
- Ensure that the brand voice and messaging remain consistent throughout all communications.
### Requirements
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field (or current enrollment in a related academic program).
**Personality Traits:**
- Dedicated: A strong work ethic, commitment to achieving project goals, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities.
- Adaptable: Ability to adjust to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Soft Skills:**
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and engage with diverse audiences.
- Presentation Skills: Comfort in presenting ideas and information clearly and confidently to groups.
**Other Requirements:**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally within the communications field.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in communications, marketing, or public relations is a plus but not mandatory.
