This part-time position will play a pivotal role in enhancing our internal and external communications strategy, ensuring our message resonates across various platforms and audiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Content Development:**
- Create engaging and informative content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, social media posts, website updates, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and insights, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
2. **Social Media Management:**
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and feedback, responding in a timely manner to foster positive relationships with the audience.
3. **Event Coordination:**
- Assist in organizing promotional events and presentations, ensuring effective communication before, during, and after events.
- Serve as a communications representative at various functions, promoting Solaire Resort & Casino's brand and offerings.
4. **Brand Messaging:**
- Support the development and refinement of brand messaging and voice across all communication channels.
- Ensure all communications align with the overall brand strategy and comply with corporate guidelines.
5. **Research and Analysis:**
- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that can inform communication strategies.
- Analyze communication metrics and performance data to assess effectiveness and suggest improvements.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and global locations, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to contribute innovative ideas that support the company's goals.
**Requirements:**
- **Educational Background:** Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
