Reporting to the General Manager, Philippines, the Commercial Planning Manager will be a strong business partner to the Sales teams in providing insightful analysis and recommendations to drive optimal commercial outcomes. The role will assist the Sales Teams in understanding business performance, sales variance, channel profitability analysis, trade spend variances and drive the forecasting processes. This role plays a vital part in aligning our sales efforts with company goals and ensuring the sales team is well-equipped to achieve its targets.

Profile Performance Management and Analysis
• Perform accurate and insightful analysis and interpretation of business trends and results to present to Business Partners to support business decisions and value creation initiatives.
• Liaise with Sales Managers in reviewing actual sales results, understand and prepare reports outlining volume, trade spend and revenue trends, stocks in trade
• Effectively communicate monthly results to Sales Managers on the drivers affecting each channel, financial performance and review of any significant variances to forecast;
Proactively identify and recommend solutions to any risks and opportunities to actual performance, forecast or business trends through ad-hoc analysis.
• Review and analyze month end results against Budget on volume, revenue.
• Ensuring insightful commentary is provided to Sales Managers and the market leadership team.
• Present monthly business intelligence report to commercial and leadership team
Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Plans
• Lead & improve the forecasting process together with Business control department
• Improve quality of rolling forecast
• Collect and analyse the forecasts, budget and long-term plans to ensure Sales plans are formed with rigour and supported by assumptions based on quantitative data. Constructively challenge Business Partners in the process and collaboratively align on the plan. The role will:
• Be responsible for the annual and multi-year budget planning and estimates (Volume & Revenue);
• Provide assistance and direction to Sales team where needed in preparation and review of their forecasts;
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of forecast and budget to Business control and Management team
• Create and analyse sales plans (supported by trends and actual performance) in conjunction with Sales Managers and feed these plans into the multi-year brand plan process.
• Be responsible for Commercial team targets calculation and follow-up
• Distributors volume targets calculation and follow-up
• Create tools & templates for forecast preparation by commercial team and further analysis

Funds to Trade (FTT) management:
• Tracking of all FTT contracts with customers
• Following up of targets fulfilment and FTT payments
• Drive quarterly contracts performance reviews by channel and identify any risks and opportunities to individual customer contracts to Sales Managers.
• FTT follow-up automatization
Commercial tool suite
• Take a leadership role in the suite of tools utilised by the Commercial teams, including, but not limited to.
• Qlik Sense – lead adoption and use. Present and share the business with easily digestible self-service analytics
• Salesforce - lead adoption, support, and advocacy
• SAP FTT tool
• Collaborate with the Regional & Global IT teams to ensure the tools are fit for purpose and advocate for new developments as required by the business
• Be an active member of the communities associated with the tool suite
• Deliver user training, support & onboarding for new joiners
