We are seeking a talented, motivated individual who will support the Business Manager and Project Management team with direct responsibility for highlighting and managing the commercial risk for the entire lifecycle of the contract.
This is a full-time office based role based in Rugby. We are looking for an experienced, professional, presentable, and courteous Manager who can communicate at all levels.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability Working as part of the project and management team taking a lead role to achieve the overall objectives of the project and business unit by driving high standards of risk management, safe working and continuous improvement in process and quality of operations Understanding and agreeing contract terms and conditions. Interpreting and implementing appropriate controls utilising support from the management and Commercial team as required Ensuring contract terms are understood by the Project Management team and confirming compliance during the project lifecycle Act as technical resource on Contract Administration as required Management of the tendering process ensuring that all bid responses are submitted on time and the correct approvals are gained Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes The successful applicant will possess:
Proven commercial knowledge, including contract terms and conditions, budgets and cost control and excellent negotiation skills/experience Demonstrable track record in Project & Commercial Management Highly motivated self-starter with a passion and interest in serving customers and exceeding expectations Interpersonal skills at all organisational levels, with the ability to motivate people and engender a culture of team working to achieve the aims of the business The ability to work flexibly and under pressure.
