The Collections Division Head is responsible for driving the collections operations for Secured Loan products (Motorcycle and Auto) at a national level. Reporting to the COO of the Financing Group, the incumbent oversees several departments and functions including National Collections Operations, Remedial Department, TeleCollections, and Collections Systems. He is responsible for developing and implementing collections strategies, achieving collections targets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement collections strategies and policies to optimize collections performance, minimize risk exposure, and drive continuous improvement across the collections operationsLead and manage the National Collections Operations, Remedial Department, TeleCollections, and Collections Systems departments to ensure effective and efficient collections operations and team performanceDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Retail Group, Marketing Department, Credit and Risk, and Finance, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment in achieving business objectivesCollaborate with external stakeholders, including industry associations, regulators, and customers, to drive industry best practices and influence the regulatory environment in favor of the financing companyContinuously monitor and analyze collections performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement action plans to improve collections performance and customer experienceDevelop and manage budgets for the Collections Division and ensure effective utilization of resourcesBuild and lead a high-performing collections team, foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning, and develop and mentor future leaders within the organizationProvide regular reports and updates to the COO and other key stakeholders on the performance and progress of the Collections Division.JOB SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields; with Master's degree from a reputable universityMinimum of 15 years of experience in collections operations in the financing industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership roleProven track record of driving collections performance and achieving collections targets through effective collections operations management and team leadership, with experience in managing collections operations at a national levelStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach in collections operationsExcellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and inspire others across the organization and externallyStrong understanding of risk management and compliance in collections operations, with experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and industry associationsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment, with experience in driving organizational change and transformation initiativesExperience in the financing industry in the Philippines is highly desirable, with knowledge of the local regulatory environment and industry best practices
