VERSA is the first ever Philippine two-way radio brand which was launched 13 years ago. Two-way radios or walkie-talkies cater to a niche market and are mandatory for industries like corporate security, transportation & logistics, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, mining, government, police and public safety. The brand is expanding across all industries regional and global in the coming months.
The expansion initiative would mean hiring experienced Collection Specialist personnel who will be responsible to facilitate the collection of payments.
Responsibilities include:
· Monitor and update status of accounts daily.
· Tele Collection and Interface Collection.
· Revert past due accounts to current status.
· Timely posting of collection and other entries.
· Verbal and Written Communication.
· Ensure our collection policies are adhered to at all times.
· Coordinate with clients to negotiate payment plans and payment schedules.
· Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with clients.
· Follow up on set arrangement and determine appropriate action.
· Generate reports on the status of accounts and provide regular updates to management.
· Resolve disputes and handle objections to payment.
· Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Power point.
The job requires at least 3 years of Collection Specialist experience, sound knowledge in negotiating settlements and recording, and sound knowledge in and exposure to collection laws and regulations.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills will help the Collection Specialist contributes to the financial health of the company by recovering outstanding accounts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. Communicating with clients to confirm outstanding balances, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
