Salary: 25,000 - 35,000
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or any related field
-With 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing set-up
-With a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operating, troubleshooting, and programming CNC machines, preferably handling FANUC machines
-Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tools, and materials
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
-Familiarity with quality control standards and practices
-Technical degree or certification in CNC machining or a related field is a plus
Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership:
-Lead and manage a team of CNC operators and technicians.
Ensure that all team members are trained on CNC operations and safety protocols.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
CNC Operations:
-Operate and program CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machinery and programming.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Training & Development:
-Develop training materials and conduct workshops to teach operators on CNC machinery and programming techniques.
Mentor and assist team members in honing their skills and improving their performance.
Quality Control:
-Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and oversee testing of finished products.
Collaboration:
-Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize CNC processes and enhance product quality.
Provide input on machine maintenance and upgrades based on operational feedback.
Safety & Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols within the CNC machining area.
Foster a culture of safety and efficiency among team members.
