Your Role
Work confidently and self-directed in a fast paced environment
Build tools/develop solutions for challenging and business-critical problems
Work with a wide range of customers?
software and engineering teams to support their workflows in the existing platform
Write clear and consumable documentation
Perform root cause analysis, identify and resolve underlying problem patterns, while driving to develop automated and self-healing solutions
You'll be embedded in a team of talented engineers both at OpsWerks and its customers that are already focusing on development, quality, performance, reliability, infrastructure, security and compliance
The role requires 8-hour rotating shift on a 24x7 coverage.
Your Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of
working in DevOps Platforms and Infrastructure support and operationsWorking experience with Orchestration and Cluster management technologies preferably Hashicorp Nomad or other orchestrators like Kubernetes
Working experience with container engines specifically Docker
Strong Linux administration background
Experience with configuring reverse proxy servers like Envoy or NGINX
Proficiency in Networking (TCP/IP, Security, Security Appliances such as HSM, Netscaler, IPtables, and Routing)
Proficiency in log analysis and monitoring using Splunk, Prometheus or Grafana
Bachelor's degree or higher education
Amenable to work in a shifting schedule on a 24x7 environment.
Plus Points
Knowledgeable in the operations, design, architecture, and management of Cloud based Infrastructure preferably AWS or similar technologies like Azure, GCP
Knowledgeable in service mesh tools like Hashicorp Consul
Ability to create automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ruby
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Adaptability and flexibility with new and emerging technologies
Experience dealing with customer issues and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant certifications in any of the skills on key qualifications
