Qualifications
This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, best practices, and hands-on experience with cloud automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS.
3. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate or higher certification is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
6. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
2. Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 buckets, VPCs, and other services.
3. Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and access controls.
4. Automate cloud operations tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and availability.
6. Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure security and compliance.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
9. Stay up-to-date with AWS services, tools, and technologies to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and processes.
10. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.
