Metacom Solutions is Urgently Hiring a Cloud Observability Engineer! About the Role
As a Cloud Observability Engineer, you will be a key contributor in building, implementing, and managing observability solutions. You'll collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure our applications and services are highly available, performant, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observability and Monitoring:
- Design and maintain observability systems using tools like Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Application Insights.
- Instrument applications and infrastructure to deliver comprehensive monitoring and alerting.
- Build and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports for operational needs.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Deploy and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Ensure observability tools and configurations are reliably managed through IaC.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Partner with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless observability integration.
- Participate in root cause analysis and incident management to resolve issues and enhance system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance.
- Documentation and Process Improvement:
- Document observability configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong experience in application observability and performance management.
- Proficiency in tools like Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Application Insights.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with IaC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Proven success in working with operational teams and managing processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup

Pay: Up to Php150,000.00 per month
