Cloud Engineer Position Summary: As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our cloud services infrastructure. You will collaborate with our dynamic team to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud-based systems. With your expertise in cloud technologies and problem-solving skills, you will contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of our services. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, administer, and maintain cloud-based systems in alignment with business requirements.Collaborate with the Lead Cloud Engineer to fulfill assigned tasks within given deadlines.Conduct incident root cause analysis and coordinate with support organizations and vendors as necessary.Develop and evaluate well-documented documentation for processes and systems.Participate in a global follow-the-sun support model, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities.Analyze workloads, identify optimization opportunities, and standardize operational processes through automation.Ensure compliance with security patching and vulnerability recommendations, implementing automation tools to streamline administration.Evaluate and test new administration tools, providing training to the team as needed.Utilize scripting languages such as Terraform or Ansible for managing cloud services like AWS.Perform peer reviews for code, designs, and documents, ensuring code quality and maintainability.Manage user access and permissions for cloud consoles and compute instances.Design and deliver secure cloud solutions on AWS, leveraging expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments.Assess architecture design, system evaluation, and infrastructure needs, contributing to backup strategies and resource optimization.Maintain a highly available SaaS environment, leveraging networking and storage technologies for optimal performance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, BS Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, preferably in Fintech or Financial Institutions.Above-average management, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in cloud tools, infrastructure administration, and technical skills in system development and operations.Experience with AWS systems integration, development, and maintenance.
