Job Description:
Trans Asia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction for various infrastructure projects. Additionally, the candidate will handle pricing for different fabricated steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
- Develop detailed engineering designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure designs meet all safety and regulatory standards.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications.
Pricing and Cost Estimation:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for fabricated steel structures used in various projects.
- Evaluate material costs, labor, and other expenses to create competitive pricing models.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best prices for materials.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all designs and constructions comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction phase.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Has a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure design and construction.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Experience with pricing and cost estimation for fabricated steel structures.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead project teams.
