Seeking for Civil Engineers can work remotely for our client base in GUAM.
Expert in structural design, project management and colaboration.
Willing to work on GUAM's time.
A summary list of work the selected applicant(s) will perform are:
• Design, civil and structural engineering on projects such as roads, highways, bridges, and
other infrastructure; commercial and government buildings and facilities
• Work with architects and engineers of other disciplines to design commercial and
government facilities from ground up including civil structural and MEP
• Evaluate existing projects for repair and improvements
• Analyze data to determine project requirements
• Create schematic designs and drawings – finalize designs for permit and
construction
Civil Designer skills include the following:
• Ability to read and interpret plans and data
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software with emphasis on Civil3D,
STAAD, Risa and similar software
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be familiar with the International Building Code, ASCE, ACI 318 and
related technical standards and requirements
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel, experience with Adobe and PowerPoint are
pluses
Civil Designer Requirements:
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Personal Traits:
• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, architectural engineering, or
architecture
• Licensure is a plus but not required especially for recently-graduated candidates
• Two to five years of engineering or architectural design experience, are a plus.
However applicants with less experience may be selected, if their skills and aptitude
justify the selection.
