Civil Engineer / Estimator (Australian Account)

As an Estimator your responsibilities will include the following:
Preparation of tender submissions for all allocated work
Engaging with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, trade suppliers to ensure competitive an accurate tender is submitted
Establish the resources required for each project
Measuring and take-offs from drawings to build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works
Cost Planning
Producing bills-of-quantities

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in estimating for construction projects, preferably in the Australian market.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Build Soft Cubit, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Estimator Platinum) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
