Job Overview We are looking for a Department Head (Circle Lead) for Risk Reporting that will be part of the Risk Services management team. The role will report hierarchically to the Senior Department Head (Super Circle Lead) of Risk Services of ING Hubs Philippines.
As a Department Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing various teams that support ING Business Partners for a wide range of reporting services, which include but are not limited to credit risk reporting, analytical credit risk dashboards, and ESG reports.
Key Responsibilities Contributes to strategic priorities and translates these into executable plans and actions.Drives the implementation of strategic changes for the organizational unit, whether at team level or circle level.Organizes the teams to ensure services are delivered in the most efficient and effective way possible.Identifies synergies within the teams in Risk Services and drives transformation for the scalability of services in scope.Creates high-performing teams and removes impediments for the delivery of the service.Accountable for executing risk & control compliance and mitigation of business and operational risks; ensures regulatory compliance across the circle.Responsible for continuous improvement of processes to achieve target efficiency savings for the domain.Facilitates, supports, and motivates employees within the circle.Key Capabilities/Experience Expertise in developing high-performing teams and empowering teams to act autonomously and holding them accountable.Strong communication skills and (international) stakeholder management skills.Relevant experience in (complex) Project Management; proven track record in continuous improvement and change management.Ability to display flexibility to teams and adapt plan, approach, and behavior to different needs, cultures, and situations.Self-starter with the ability to think and plan ahead; proactive in identifying problems or strategies to improve the business, culture, and systems.Experience with steering on output.Ability to manage multiple clients and work with tight deadlines.Result-driven and able to push things forward in a persistent way.Well organized, pro-active, and hands-on to deliver high quality output and services.Analytical, autonomous, adaptive, and flexible to turn problems into workable solutions.Exposure to communicating with senior stakeholders.Proven verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to navigate and manage complexities and build a network for collaboration.Minimum Qualifications 5+ years work experience as a people manager in a global operations and in a service delivery organization, with experience in handling at least 15-20 people.3+ years work experience in the financial industry.2+ years experience in managing a large team with diverse backgrounds.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Fluent in written and spoken English.Willing to work in One Ayala Tower, Makati City.Willing to work in a hybrid setup (50% onsite).Willing to work mid-shift (when needed).
