Join Our Team as CTO – Lead the Development of an Innovative Employee Benefits Platform!
We are a startup based in the Philippines, developing a state-of-the-art platform for managing employee allowances, starting with food allowances. Our mission is to simplify allowance management for companies, ensuring that benefits reach employees and are utilized as intended. We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical team and drive the development of our MVP and beyond.
Location: BGC, Taguig City, Philippines
Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week, 9 hours per day
Compensation: Base Salary PHP 80,000 - 200,000 (per month) (negotiable) with performance-based bonus options
Key Responsibilities Product Development Leadership: Oversee and lead the development of our MVP, focusing on creating a secure, scalable, and flexible platform that meets the needs of employers and employees alike. Technical Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement the product's technical architecture with scalability and flexibility in mind, enabling future additions such as new allowance categories and payment options. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our design, product, and business teams to ensure a seamless alignment between technical execution and business goals. Data Security & Compliance: Ensure the platform complies with data security and privacy standards, including PCI DSS and any other relevant regulations. Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP preferred) to enable quick scalability, data storage, and secure transaction handling. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in technical leadership, preferably as a CTO or lead developer for a SaaS, FinTech, or payment processing platform. Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages. Experience with frontend frameworks like React and React Native or Flutter, with a focus on delivering mobile and web applications. Knowledge in database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar). Expertise in data security and familiarity with PCI DSS standards, SSL/TLS, and OAuth2 protocols. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Google Cloud Platform preferred). Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team management.
