Job Description The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for performing effective risk management and planning the organization's financial strategy, analyzing liabilities and investments. This includes financial management from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. Responsibilities include cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, financial reporting, and driving the company's financial strategy and hiring needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive the company's financial planningPerform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investmentsDecide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risksTake responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reportingCoordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgetsEnsure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting and reportingDevelop and implement best practices for fiscal management and project coordinationComply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislationOversee HR operations by coordinating with external service providers and internal staffMonitor business performance with tracking tools and prepare detailed reportsJob Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Two or more years of experience in executive leadership rolesExcellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrityExceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skillsUnderstanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planningWorking knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of creditPREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or financeInternational finance experienceExperience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relationsExecutive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognitionProfessional certification (ex: Certified Public Accountant)Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
