Qualifications: A degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)An advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master's in Finance or Accounting is highly advantageous and may be preferred.Strong financial analysis, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or in senior financial roles.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, corporate governance, and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, finance, or technology) is preferred.Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to work with all team members.Strong background in operations management, supply chain, and transportation.Successful candidate to be based in Cebu City.Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:Developing Financial Strategies: Craft long-term financial plans aligned with the company's overall vision, focusing on sustainable growth, profitability, and capital optimization.Aligning Financial Goals with Business Objectives: Ensure financial strategies are integrated with broader business goals, working closely with the executive team to provide financial insights and direction.Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Create and maintain complex financial models to project future financial performance, considering various business scenarios and market conditions.Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Strategy: Lead or advise on M&A activities, including evaluating potential targets, conducting due diligence, and structuring financial deals to enhance business growth.Capital Allocation: Oversee decisions on how to allocate capital to the most profitable and strategic projects, ensuring optimal returns and business growth.Financial Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks, such as market volatility or changes in interest rates, while positioning the company for financial success.Financial Planning and Analysis:Budgeting: Lead the development of the company's annual budget, ensuring it aligns with strategic objectives.Forecasting: Provide regular forecasts based on historical performance, market conditions, and business developments.Variance Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial results by comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts.Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports that offer insights into the company's financial performance.Capital Expenditure Planning: Manage the planning and approval process for capital expenditures (CapEx).Financial Decision Support: Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support major business decisions.Develop and implement financial strategies: Support the company's long-term goals, including growth, profitability, and sustainability.Building an Internal Audit Management System: Design and implementation of a comprehensive internal audit management system.Development of Financial Management Systems: Create and document financial management systems, including accounting manuals, policies, and process flow.Identify Measures of Success: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating financial management effectiveness.Financial Analysis and Reporting: Comprehensive examination of an organization's financial data to assess its performance.Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop financial models to simulate different business scenarios and their potential financial impact.Budgeting and Forecasting: Create financial plans and projections that guide an organization's financial decision-making.Financial Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies.Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Evaluate existing financial and accounting processes to identify inefficiencies.
