Chief Engineer

Job Qualifications: Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 6 years in building/facilities managementStrong knowledge of the technical aspects of building operations and maintenanceKey Responsibilities: Building & Facilities Maintenance Establish and oversee an efficient preventive maintenance program for all building equipment and facilities.Aim to prevent equipment breakdowns, reduce repair costs, and maximize the useful life of assets.Project Management Lead and monitor the implementation of projects and repairs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to approved specifications, standards, and quality.Engineering Strategy & Planning Develop and recommend strategies and plans to enhance engineering operations and building integrity.Oversee compliance with these plans to ensure efficient performance and quality of work.Building Safety Management Implement and ensure compliance with safety requirements, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.Regularly review and recommend improvements to policies and processes to preserve life and property.Regulatory Compliance Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements related to building and engineering, aiming to maintain safety and security while minimizing the risk of penalties.Cost and Asset Management Provide direction on effective cost management while maintaining high-quality standards for engineering works and purchases.Team Leadership & Management Foster a work environment that encourages trust, open communication, and creative thinking.Coach, mentor, and manage team performance, promoting individual growth and achieving team objectives.
