Job Description:
We are looking for a male Chemical Engineer who is knowledgeable in water and wastewater treatment processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop efficient manufacturing processes, monitor production quality, design systems to optimize operations, and establish safety protocols, all while focusing on waste management and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop manufacturing processes that minimize waste and improve the quality of finished products.
Monitor and test processes and products across all phases of production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Develop and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials.
Design, plan, and implement the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Use computer software to compile, analyze, and interpret production and performance data.
Establish and enforce safety protocols and waste management procedures to meet environmental and safety regulations.
Travel to work sites and project locations to gather information, assess needs, and design tailored solutions.
Assist in creating project budgets, setting realistic timelines, and ensuring project milestones are met.
Qualifications:
Male, physically fit to travel and work on-site when needed.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
At least 1-2 years of experience in chemical or process engineering, production, or a related role.
Proficiency in data analysis, process optimization, and equipment design using relevant software tools.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and handling hazardous materials.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to design and implement cost-efficient production layouts and processes.
Willing to travel to project sites as required.
