Staff Accountant (CPA): plays a pivotal role in our finance team, contributing to the management of financial transactions, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring strict adherence to accounting principles and company policies. Senior Accountant (CPA): will maintain a ledger to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks, including transactional processing, financial analysis, annual budget support and monitoring, and monthly financial statements. Controller Assistant (CPA): This position reports to the CFO and is responsible for applying general principles of accounting, reviewing and analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role. Staff Accountant (CPA) Responsibilities: Financial Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records by recording transactions, posting debits and credits, and reconciling accounts. Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and managing vendor relationships. General Ledger Maintenance: Updating and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and categorized, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes. Bank Reconciliations: reconciling bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Expense Management: Monitoring and analyzing expenses to ensure they are within budget and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing activities, including reviewing payroll reports, reconciling payroll accounts, and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations. Tax Compliance: Assisting with tax preparation and compliance activities, including gathering necessary documentation and providing support during audits. Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making, such as variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Internal Controls: Assisting in the development and implementation of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations. Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, answering auditor inquiries, and addressing any findings or recommendations. Software Proficiency: Utilize the advanced features of QuickBooks Online software, ServiceTitan, and Excel preferred to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and optimize workflows. Ad Hoc Reporting: Generating ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, operations, and human resources, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with policies and procedures. · Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial reporting and analysis. Other duties, as assigned Senior Accountant (CPA) Responsibilities: Improve accounting systems by creating useful suggestions and reports for management. Review accounts and financial records to discover discrepancies and errors. Prepare financial reports to analyze business performance. Oversee revenue-generating accounts (e.g., credit cards, loans, etc.). Monitor income and expenses in various companies and branches. Oversee the budgeting process, suggest improvements, and implement strategies. Other duties, as assigned Controller Assistant (CPA) Responsibilities: Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential Prepares, analyzes, and consolidates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Assists in maintaining internal controls Cash forecasting/budgeting Vendor management Other duties, as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field. A CPA license is required A minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff accountant, senior accountant, controller assistant, or similar role. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Quickbooks, and SAP. In-depth knowledge and experience of full-cycle accounting processes. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filing. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A well-organized and proactive person must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
