Certified Public Accountant

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Accountancy
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting work
- Certified Public Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews/ analyzes the financial statements and reports to evaluate the Corporation's performance and determine financial status and renders reports thereon;
- Provides accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
- Shall be responsible for project cost accounting:
- Prepares periodic reports on construction income, construction cost, and cost and income analysis per project;
- Prepares accounting entries of monthly construction income realized and the corresponding construction costs (based on billings prepared);
- Monitors accumulated construction income and construction cost of the project;
- Assists the Finance Manager in budget formulation, controlling allotments, monitoring expenditures, and preparing revisions;
- Produces accurate Balance Sheet and ensures it represents the company's financial position in all material respects.
- Supports in the development of annual budget and in forecasting as well as an understanding of the performance of the company. He/She will be involved in developing strategies to improve performance.
- Reviews work of the financial/account analyst, disbursement officer, and clerk and ensures maintenance, timeliness, and accuracy of accounting records;
- Analyzes and manages account renewal process;
- Analyzes and resolves client queries in an accurate and timely manner;
- Develops account management plan to meet business objectives;
- Executes and manages assigned work within allotted timeline and budget;
Checks/ reviews/ initials all payment orders, check vouchers and other accounting documents;
- Performs such other related duties as the Management may direct from time to time.
