Certified Public Accountant

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ AccountancyAt least 1 year of experience in Accounting workCertified Public Accountant Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews/ analyzes the financial statements and reports to evaluate the Corporation's performance and determine financial status and renders reports thereon;Provides accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation. - Shall be responsible for project cost accounting: Prepares periodic reports on construction income, construction cost, and cost and income analysis per project;Prepares accounting entries of monthly construction income realized and the corresponding construction costs (based on billings prepared);Monitors accumulated construction income and construction cost of the project;Assists the Finance Manager in budget formulation, controlling allotments, monitoring expenditures, and preparing revisions;Produces accurate Balance Sheet and ensures it represents the company's financial position in all material respects.Supports in the development of annual budget and in forecasting as well as an understanding of the performance of the company. He/She will be involved in developing strategies to improve performance.Reviews work of the financial/account analyst, disbursement officer, and clerk and ensures maintenance, timeliness, and accuracy of accounting records;Analyzes and manages account renewal process;Analyzes and resolves client queries in an accurate and timely manner;Develops account management plan to meet business objectives;Executes and manages assigned work within allotted timeline and budget;
Checks/ reviews/ initials all payment orders, check vouchers and other accounting documents;
- Performs such other related duties as the Management may direct from time to time.
