Responsibilities
Ensure codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations
Assign codes for PII,PHI, and other sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PCI, DSS, NPP guidelines and policies
Review structured and unstructured data in a database quickly and accurately Qualifications Registered Nurse or Allied Health equivalent
AAPC/AHIMA Certification with ICD10 Proficiency work experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Healthcare processing, Clinical practice, US Healthcare
Experience in medical records Previous Medical Coding Experience Preferred Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
Exhibit sound knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to work in a high-stress environment
