Category Buyer (Fresh)

I. Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing the specific category assigned to him/her whether Fresh, Food, or Non-food. Oversees the total category in terms of sales, margins, and days of inventory. He/She is the front-liner in buying new items, and is also responsible for maintaining the product mix or assortment of the category he/she handles.

II. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and develops assigned category.Manages product assortment and portfolio under assigned category.Front-liner in initial buying and evaluates products introduced by suppliers.Handles business building negotiations. III. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree holder of Business Administration/Management related courses.With at least three (3) of relevant work experience in Category Buying, Merchandising, or Purchasing in food, retail, or other related industries.With good communication, negotiation, and time management skills.Amenable to work (onsite) at Waltermart Head Office at North Edsa/ Muñoz, Quezon City.
