Cashier

• Provide leadership and direction to cashier staff, including assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and monitoring performance.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing tills, counting cash drawers, and reconciling transactions. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and handling complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Train new cashiers on operating procedures, customer service standards, and cash handling protocols. Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve performance.
• Monitor cashier transactions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and adherence to established procedures. Address any discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Prepare daily cash reports, reconcile transaction records, and maintain accurate documentation of cashier activities. Provide regular updates to management on cash flow and performance metrics.
