This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team responsible for Cash, Currency and Hedge Accounting.
The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for the complete and accurate accounting for all the Cash & Bank process flows, including but not limited to reconciling banks and cash balance sheet accounts, supporting treasury related activities, and analyzing non-customer cash received and miscellaneous payments
- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements
- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope
- Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas
- Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities
- Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy
- Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach
- Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing them in line with global standards

**Compliance**
- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities
- Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures.
Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings

**Leadership and People Management**
- Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team
- Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team
- Ensure effective performance management within team
- Lead Accounting team of 5+

**Travel**
- Up to 10-20% international travel

**Qualifications** Qualifications**:

- A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred

**Languages**:

- Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- At least 4 years of professional experience is required
- At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel

**Other**:

- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
