Calibration Analyst

Responsibilities: Conduct in-house and on-site calibration of measuring instruments.Inspect, record, receive, and release samples for calibration.Use various software, such as spreadsheets, statistical tools, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and reports.Prepare calibration certificates.Confer with supervisor and other technical workers to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.Perform routine preventive maintenance and intermediate checks to ensure that measurement standards and equipment continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently.Disassemble and reassemble instruments and equipment using hand tools and inspect instruments and equipment for defects.Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.Modify performance and operations of component parts and circuitry to specifications using test equipment and precision instruments.Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.Record maintenance and repair work performed.Provide additional administrative support to other areas of the business as required, such as delivery and collection.
