This position will focus on creating detailed security device drawings, including but not limited to camera placements, access control systems, fiber optic networks, and low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, with a keen understanding of architectural forms, icons, revision notes, and the ability to translate plan documents into precise line drawings.What you'll be doing:Produce accurate CAD drawings for security devices and systems, incorporating changes and revisions per client requests and architectural standards.Understand and apply standard architectural symbols and legends related to security and communication systems.Develop riser diagrams and electrical layouts for security and low-voltage systems.Work collaboratively with architects and project teams to ensure designs meet specified requirements.Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring all revisions are up-to-date and accurately reflected in drawings.Operate within a remote desktop environment, accessing and working on company servers to complete drawing tasks.Qualifications & Requirements:Proven experience as a CAD operator with a strong portfolio showcasing security systems design.Familiarity with architectural, electrical, and security system layouts, including access control, security cameras, fiber optics, and network infrastructure.Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate them into detailed CAD drawings.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with architects, project managers, and team members.Proficiency in remote desktop environments and the capability to work effectively on company servers.Previous experience in architecture or electrical engineering as a CAD operator is highly desirable.Experience with both residential and commercial projects is preferred.Benefits and PerksAt eFlex, we're not just a workplace – we're a community of playmakers, committed to fostering growth, learning, and personal connections.
