Cad Operator

Job descriptionUse CAD software to create 2D drawings and 3D models of the project.Attend meetings with the Sales Executives, Estimators and Operations to understand the project specifications and scope.Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software based on client's specificationsDevelop and maintain CAD design standards for the companyCreate 2D, 3D, and isometric drawingsGenerate and revise detailed 2D plans and elevations, and 3D perspective viewsTranslate 2D concepts into 3D renderings and animationsCreate renderings and animationsGenerate 3D files from plansCreate 3D drawings from 2D sketchesGenerate documentation or manuals from 3D modelsProvide input for project documentation including sketches, preliminary proposals, schedules, and project plans.Work with the VP- Admin / Operation, VP- Sales / Finance, General Manager, Sales Executives, Quantity Surveyors and other members of the project team as part of the master planning processGet feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as neededNotify Projects Team of the design's progress and when the designs are completeResearching and testing new computer technologiesPerform other duties as assigned including periodic reviews of drawings and specifications
