DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.
Purchasing of local/imported parts & services for production, Engineering transportation equipment
2.
Works with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solution to problems in project procurement.
3.
Ensures on-time delivery and cost saving for project procurement activities.
4.
Negotiates pricing and review quotations.
5.
Coordinates between suppliers and technical/operation team.
6.
Participates in project review meeting and actively contribute from sourcing/procuring point of view.
7.
Collaborates internally with Technical, Sales, Supply Chain and Plant Execution to achieve optimum purchasing route.
EDUCATION

Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

At least one (1) year of related working experience in procurement/supply chain roles.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Good communication skills & understanding of common manufacturing practices and methods in the industry.
- Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
- Basic know-how on logistics and import/export rules and regulation.
- Can work independently with mínimal supervision and highly disciplined.
- Can work within tight schedule and deadline.
- Excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker and able to identify and implement supply management tools.
- Vehicle/Car/motor parts familiarization
