Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) enhances operational efficiency by leveraging technology, managing information systems, and aligning business processes with strategic goals.
The BSA collaborates with users, developers, vendors, and IT teams to analyze, design, implement, and maintain systems, ensuring business and technical requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities

System Design and Implementation
Recommend process improvements and design for systems such as ERP, POS, HRIS, and in-house applications.
Develop documentation (e.g., flowcharts, gap analysis) and liaise with stakeholders for system design approval.
Manage system rollouts, including testing, training, and monitoring to ensure alignment with requirements.

Sourcing New Systems
Assess and recommend software solutions, considering features, costs, and implementation timelines.
Coordinate with vendors, ensuring integration with existing systems and smooth deployment.

Application Maintenance
Manage system updates, testing new features, and troubleshooting issues.
Ensure system stability and compliance with business requirements.
4.
Reporting and Analytics
Provide actionable data insights via business intelligence tools and dashboards.
Ensure report accuracy, stability, and user accessibility.
5.
Training and Documentation
Conduct user training and prepare documentation, including manuals and procedure guides.
6.
Security and Compliance
Enforce data access policies and ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory requirements.
7.
User Support
Provide first-line support for systems like ERP, POS, and business intelligence tools.
Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to service providers as needed.
Performance Indicators
Availability of reliable business intelligence tools.
Usability and stability of systems/applications.
On-time and within-budget project rollouts.
Adherence to policies and core values.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
Experience with business software (e.g., Microsoft applications).
At least one year of IT-related experience; ERP, POS, or BI tool experience is a plus.
